Technical Lead- Malaga

A leading North American software company recently established in Malaga are looking for the following:

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and manage all technical aspects of the project, including:
o Development and review of technical requirements
o Assignment of work to team
o Approval of team’s designs and implementations
• Provide Project Manager with reliable estimates for technical work and review risk lists for completeness and accuracy
• Deliver high-quality components that meet all project requirements
• Champion of superior solutions
• Oversee responsible development of components, alerting PM to changes in estimates and risks
• Lead and mentor other developers
• Works with Architecture team to determine technology solutions

Requirements:

• 5 – 10 years experience designing, coding, and maintaining systems in Java
• Proven ability to lead and mentor technical teams
• Demonstrated experience building significant systems with various pieces of J2EE
• Demonstrated experience on Unix/Linux, Apache, and Tomcat platforms. JBoss experience a plus
• Strong experience in database design/implementation, especially DB2, MySQL, or MS SQL
• University degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Excellent communication skills (written and spoken)
