Finance Manager
Our client is searching for a Finance Manager to manage the existing team and implement further procedures as required.
The primary responsibilities of this role will be to implement additional procedures around key financial areas, ensure timely financial reporting both internally and externally, and to ensure timely completion of FSC regulatory returns.
Principal Objectives and Responsibilities including the following, other objectives may be assigned:
Oversee reconciliations for customer funds, point of sale transactions and creditcard transactions
Design (where required) reconciliation processes for above, and for new counterparties and jurisdictions as they arise
Liase with product development team to ensure that financial reporting requirements are incorporated into the ‘back end’ of new products
Prepare weekly KPI report for senior management team
Collate, control and distribute weekly income reports
Control the Gibraltar month-end reporting to the finance team in London – to include income figures, stock movements, accruals, purchase orders and invoices
Liase with London finance team to review Gibraltar month-end figures
Liase with London finance team over procedures for ensuring prompt delivery of month-end information
Ensure timely completion of figures for internal and external purposes, including completion of FSC banking supervisory returns
Control the internal and external audit process
To conduct the business of the Company at all times in a courteous and efficient manner.
To undertake any other task as may reasonably be required by the Company.
Experience and Knowledge Required
1 – 2 year post-qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent)
Previous banking experience

Salary is £40k - £45k
