Accountant Assistant

Our client is searching for an Accountant assistant to work on daily entries in accounting software and the reconciliation of several bank accounts. The role also encompasses the monthly reconciliation of bank accounts. This means that the accounts are regularly monitored throughout the month, and any unusual transactions are subsequently investigated. Reconciliation of General Ledger Accounts, posting invoices in Purchase Ledger and posting and reconciling Payroll information. Reconciliation of PAYE and Social Insurance on a monthly basis.

You will have experience of working with a computerised accounting system, preferably Great Plains and with a very high level of computer literacy, especially with Excel spreadsheets. Accounting qualification or Previous accounting experience required preferably with exposure to banking. You must live locally.

Salary is £21k with 20% bonus, healthcare, pension etc
